Casino loyalty and VIP programmes: what they are and what our rows hold

On 26 October 2026 our published feed held 744 rows. Seven of them described a loyalty scheme, meaning a reward that grows with how much you play. Between them they made up five offers. The points programme and the VIP status transfer had a row each, rakeback had a daily row and a monthly row, and the reward box was listed separately for each of the three markets.

What a loyalty programme is

A loyalty programme rewards continued play, and it can carry on long after a welcome offer has been used up. Many schemes count points or coins as you bet and let you exchange them for cash or a bonus once enough have built up. Some sort players into status levels, usually called VIP, with terms that change at each step. In the usual arrangement, rakeback hands back a share of what the house takes from your bets, whether they win or lose, while cashback is worked out on net losses. There are also reward boxes, which are earned through play and hold a prize.

What the seven rows say

Our points row was taken from a section of an operator's homepage headed with the programme's name. It has no market tag, and its wagering and end-date fields are empty. What it does print is how much has to be wagered for one coin, how many coins an exchange needs, and what those coins are worth in cash. By our arithmetic from those three numbers, the cash comes to under a thousandth of the turnover needed to earn the coins.

Rakeback and the VIP transfer come from one operator's promotions page. Both rakeback rows, the daily and the monthly, say "no wagering required" and nothing else. Our parser stores that as a zero multiplier in the wagering field. The VIP row's title invites players to transfer their VIP status to the operator, and its whole description reads "start at the highest level". Our check on 26 October 2026 found that the feed had last read these three rows on 3 October. Our parser took no offer from the captures we made every two or three days after that read; a fault on our side kept the 5 October one from being parsed at all. Every capture from 7 October onward shows a new layout, which our parser did not read. Rows already in the feed stay as they are when a capture yields nothing. The site and the Telegram bot still listed these three.

The three reward box rows, last read on 26 October, share one description. It ties a box to each set amount of betting turnover and lists money, bonuses or free spins as the rewards.

How the rows are labelled

The feed has no loyalty type, so the seven rows sit under two others. Four are typed promotion. The points row lands there because the parser for its page has a line sending loyalty and coin schemes to promotion, which that parser also uses as its default. The VIP and rakeback rows get the same type for a different reason: the rules for their page test for free spins, cashback, free bets and welcome or deposit offers, and promotion is what is left when none of those match. The reward box rows are typed free spins because free spins appear in their description's list of rewards and their page's rules test for that phrase before falling back to promotion.

Rows that look similar and were left out

Eighteen free spins rows carry a "promo shop price". How a reader gets one of those is something our rows do not show, as we found when writing about free spins, so they are not among the seven. A cashback row whose rates are tiered by weekly betting volume is counted with the other cashback rows.

No title or description among the 744 mentions a tournament or a leaderboard. Jackpot turns up on four rows, three of them a live-jackpot feature listed in each market and the fourth a casino pack.

What to check in the operator's terms

Look in the operator's terms for the share rakeback returns, which neither of our rakeback rows gives. A reward box's terms should say which reward it pays and how that reward is picked, and a VIP programme's should list what each level changes. Check which bets count toward the total, because slots and sports bets can be weighted differently. Some schemes enrol every account automatically, while others have to be requested. Whether points or a status level can lapse is worth looking for there as well.

Playing within limits

We explain these schemes without encouraging anyone to join one or to start gambling. Taking part is for adults only, meaning 21 and over in Kazakhstan and 18 and over in the other markets we cover. The rules of every scheme are laid down in the operator's T&Cs. Because the operator may change them, the version on its own site is the one that applies.

Every bet that earns a point still carries the house edge, the margin built into each casino game. Over a long run of bets that margin wins out on average, with or without points, and nobody should count on gambling to pay their bills.

Before the first point is earned, decide on the largest loss you could afford, and play no further once you reach it, however near the next exchange seems.

Take a break if a status level you are afraid of losing, a threshold just out of reach or losses you want back keep you betting beyond the limit you set. The organisations on our responsible gambling page can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a casino loyalty programme?+

A reward for how much a player bets, which can come as points, status, rakeback or reward boxes. Seven of our 744 rows described one on 26 October 2026.

Is rakeback the same as cashback?+

Not quite. As the two are usually defined, cashback is counted on net losses over a set period and rakeback returns part of the house's take on every bet, winning or losing. On our site the two rakeback rows are listed as promotions.

Is there a loyalty category on the site?+

No. As of 26 October 2026 the seven rows sat on our [promotion](/category/promotion) and [free spins](/category/free-spins) pages.

Does a loyalty scheme change the odds of a game?+

The odds come from the game itself. Points and other rewards are paid outside the game, which leaves the odds of each bet as they were. The operator's T&Cs decide what a scheme pays and when.
