Is cash out a bonus? Early payout, edit bet and the rest

Cash out does not hand you a bonus. In general it lets you leave a bet early, at a price the operator names.

That is the main difference between a sportsbook feature and a bonus, and our data blurs it. As of 12 October 2026, the rows we collected for Pin-Up put features such as cash out, early payout and edit bet in the same catalogue as its welcome and spins offers, under the same kind of card. On the descriptions we hold, they are mostly not the same kind of thing.

A bonus pays you. A feature changes the bet.

A bonus is something the operator credits to an account: bonus money, spins, a free bet. It usually arrives with conditions attached, and the wagering multiple is the one that matters most. Our piece on what we can tell you about wagering requirements covers that side.

A sportsbook feature is mostly a rule on a bet, not a credit. It changes one of four things about a bet you have already decided to place.

  • When it settles. Cash out, early payout, "premature victory".
  • What is in it. Edit bet, bet builder.
  • What it pays. Enhanced odds, boosted accumulators.
  • What happens if it loses. A stake refund on a particular outcome.

Read down that list and ask what the operator hands over in each case. Mostly, the answer is a rule. That matters for how you read them. Where nothing is credited there is no bonus balance, and so no wagering multiple to hunt for. Where something is credited, as with a refund or a row that calls itself a bonus, the operator's terms say in what form and on what conditions. For the rule-type rows the conditions you need are different ones: which events qualify, which bet types, what happens to the bet if the feature is switched off mid-match.

What the rows say

These are the Pin-Up rows as our collector captured them on 12 October 2026. Each is carried in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan (see the /az, /kz and /uz pages), and a feature carried in three markets is stored as three rows. The quotes are the operator's own description, left as written.

Cash Out. The description reads "A unique opportunity to secure your winnings before the bet is settled!" That is the entire row. It does not say how the amount is worked out, which bets qualify or when the option disappears. Separately, and not from the row: cash out is generally priced by the operator and can move as the match goes on, so the figure offered can be lower than what the bet would have paid if left alone. That is how the feature is usually described. It is not something Pin-Up's row says, and Pin-Up's own terms, which we have not read, are where to confirm how it works there.

Early payout. The description reads: "Placed a bet on “Over X goals” and the match already hit X goals? We’ll instantly return your stake to your balance, and if it wins, we’ll credit the remaining payout!" It ties the remaining payout to the bet winning, and says nothing more about the case where it does not. What that means in practice is a question for the operator's rules.

Premature Victory. It comes in a football version and a hockey version. The football description reads "get an early settlement on your bet if your team goes 2 goals ahead". The hockey one reads "settle your bet as a winner right during the match if your team takes a 3-goal lead". So the hockey row asks for a bigger lead than the football one. Neither description says which markets count.

Edit Bet. "Modify existing events or add new ones to a bet slip, even after a bet has been placed!" The row describes a change to the slip, and credits nothing.

Bet Builder. "Create a unique combo!" is the description's opening line, followed by adding outcomes "from one event to your bet slip". The title names football, basketball and baseball. Again, a way of building a bet and not a reward.

Enhanced odds. The description says a "TOP ODDS section" lets you "maximize your potential winnings". Note "potential". Higher odds change what a winning bet pays. They say nothing about how likely it is to win.

Multi Bet of the Day. The description offers "Ready-made accumulators" with a "boost on the total odds". The row states the boost as a figure. We do not print figures; the operator's own current terms, which we have not re-read, are where to find it.

The multi bet bonus row. This is the one that calls itself a bonus, in its title. The description says you can "boost your bet with a bonus". What form the bonus takes, cash, bonus balance or a free bet, is not in the row, and we will not guess. So we cannot say whether this row belongs on the feature side of the line above or on the bonus side.

The two that are filed as cashback

Pin-Up's sports refunds are filed under cashback instead. The title of one is about top league matches ending 0-0, and the description says "PIN-UP will refund your full stake to your Main Balance". The other says "If your accumulator falls short, you can still get some cashback on your Real Balance!" Both are tied to a single result, not to a period of play. We covered that mismatch in what casino cashback is, and why most of ours are not one, so we will not repeat it. The point here is only that a refund on one outcome sits close to the features above: it changes what happens to a stake. Each description names a balance it is paid to; whether it carries conditions of its own is a question for the operator's terms.

What the rows leave out

As of 12 October 2026, the Pin-Up rows quoted above state no wagering requirement, no end date and no minimum deposit. That is a statement about the rows, not about the offers. The descriptions also give no minimum odds, no maximum stake, and nothing on whether a feature applies to a bet placed with a free bet or bonus money. Those are the questions that decide whether a feature is any use. The descriptions are written to sell the feature. None of these features, whatever the wording, makes a bet more likely to win or removes the chance of losing a stake.

We did not re-read Pin-Up's own pages for this post. What is above is what our collector captured, and the descriptions are the operator's marketing copy, short by design. As of 12 October 2026, Pin-Up's page on our site lists the same rows with their market flags, the feature rows under promotions and the two refund rows under cashback.

Where this sits next to welcome offers

A feature is not a first-deposit offer, and our welcome bonus post deals with the packages that are. If you came here from that one, the short version is that the same operator can list both: a package for the first deposit, and features that apply to bets.

Reading one in the operator's terms

  1. Find out whether the feature can be unavailable on a given bet or switched off during a match. The terms say whether the operator can.
  2. Check which events and bet types qualify. A rule that settles early on a lead of a few goals will not necessarily cover every league or every market.
  3. For cash out, check how the amount is calculated and whether it is offered on accumulators.
  4. For a refund, check what it is paid as: cash, bonus balance or a free bet, and whether it carries conditions of its own.
  5. For a boosted price, check the maximum stake or winnings it applies to, if any.

Terms vary by operator and change without notice, so T&Cs apply to every feature and offer named here. This page is information, not advice, and nothing on it suggests you will win. You must be 18 or over to bet or gamble, 21 or over in Kazakhstan. If betting or gambling stops being fun, stop, and see our responsible gambling page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is cash out a bonus?+

Not in the usual sense. Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event is over, usually for an amount the operator works out and changes as the match goes on. It is a way of settling a bet, not a gift credited to you. Its rules, including when it is unavailable and whether it applies to bets placed with a free bet or bonus money, are in the operator's own terms.

What is an early payout in sports betting?+

It is a rule that pays or settles a bet early once a stated condition is met, for example a lead of a set number of goals. Operators word the condition and the effect differently, and can limit a rule to some markets. As of 12 October 2026 the early payout and premature victory rows we hold for Pin-Up each carry their own condition in the operator's description, and they do not describe the same mechanic.

Why are cash out and edit bet listed as promotions on your site?+

Because that is how our collector filed the rows it captured for Pin-Up as of 12 October 2026. Going by their descriptions, they change how a bet is settled or built rather than crediting a bonus or a free bet, which is why they sit under promotions and not under welcome bonus or free bet. T&Cs apply to each.

Are the bore draw and multi bet refunds the same as cashback?+

Not in the sense of a share of a period's losses. As of 12 October 2026 our cashback category holds Pin-Up sports rows that tie a refund to the result of one match or one accumulator. Our cashback post explains the difference. What each refund pays, and in what form, is in the operator's rules.
